Andy Serkis (born April 20, 1964) is an English film actor, author and director known also for his motion capture and voice-acting projects.
Serkis provided the motion capture effects for Kong in Peter Jackson's King Kong.
He appeared (in a non-motion capture capacity) in the Marvel films Avengers: Age of Ultron and Black Panther as the villain Ulysses Klaue.
In summer of 2014, RiffTrax did a live riff of 1998's Godzilla. During the end of the movie, Kevin Murphy remarks on the character's impending doom: "Can't believe we're going to be killed by digital creatures that aren't even controlled by Andy Serkis."
