C. Thomas Howell (born December 7, 1966 ) is a former child star whose rise to fame came as starring as the character "Ponyboy" in the 1983 adaptation of author S.E. Hinton's The Outsiders. Howell later starred in various indie and B-movie features and recently appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man.
Howell has had d recurring roles on TV shows including Criminal Minds and Southland.
