George Hosato Takei (pronounced "ta-KAY") (born April 20, 1937 in Los Angeles, California, USA) is a Japanese-American actor best known for his role as Hikaru Sulu in the Star Trek film and television franchise. He also provided a voice for a character in the "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" animated TV series.
Mr. Takei is also a respected playwright and human rights activist. He is reknowned for his work on The Howard Stern radio show, social media posts, cartoon voice-overs, inspirational true stories and for his catchphrase "Oh My!"
