Halle Berry (born August 14, 1966 in Cleveland, Ohio, USA) is an award-winning fashion model-turned-American actress of over 40 feature-length films. She is best known for her roles in the films Executive Decision, Swordfish (with Hugh Jackman and John Travolta), Monster's Ball, the X-Men movie franchise, the CBS science fiction show "Extant" and TV special Things We Lost in the Fire. Other credits include Jungle Fever (with Samuel L. Jackson), the TV mini-series Queen, Race the Sun, Bulworth, the telefilms Introducing Dorothy Dandridge (with Brent Spiner) and Their Eyes Were Watching God. Other recent films include Cloud Atlas (with Hugo Weaving), The Call and Tulia.
