Troy Donahue (1936-2001) was an American actor.
Donahue was a blond-haired blue-eyed heartthrob. He came to prominence for his role in the film A Summer Place, and soon had regular roles on the TV series Surfside 6 and Hawaiian Eye. His long career in films and television also included a role in The Godfather Part II.
Donahue's name was the partial inspiration (along with actor Doug McClure) for the Simpsons character Troy McClure.
