Along the way, Michael meets and romances Karen, who is more involved in the matter than Michael initially expects.

Quotes[]
- "Come on, you idiot! Did Chumbawamba teach you nothing?"
Chumbawamba was a band best known for their song "Tubthumping", primarily the lyrics "I get knocked down, I get up again, ain't never gonna keep me down!" To be fair to the old guy in the movie, Chumbawamba didn't even form until 1982, and their trademark song wasn't released until 1997, so the guy really had no way of being familiar with their work.
- "A Bellini cosplayer!"
Paul Bellini is a Canadian comedy writer primarily known for contributing to the shows The Kids in the Hall and This Hour Has 22 Minutes. His on-screen persona was of a man only wearing a towel.
Notes[]
- Features Larry Drake as Diesel Joe. Drake would later gain prominence for his portrayal of Benny on the TV drama L.A. Law, as well as his film roles as the villainous Durant in Darkman and the titular Dr. Giggles.
- This is one of director Will Zens' few credits. One of his other notable films is The Starfighters, which was used on Mystery Science Theater 3000.
- This is the second film used by RiffTrax to have a main character named Michael Kelly (see Grizzly).
- Doodles Weaver (who played Ben) was the uncle of actress Sigourney Weaver.
- Michael Hawkins (Michael Kelly) was the father of actor Christian Slater. (Michael Hawkins' birth name was Thomas Slater.)
- Kevin is right: at just past the one hour mark, there is indeed a single frame shot of a pizza randomly inserted into the movie. No one is sure if this is intentional or not: some have said that it is intentional, as an attempt at some sort of subliminal advertising, others say it's probably an editing mistake -- it was common practice in the days when film was actually physically cut to put a frame from an unrelated film at an edit point, but it should have been removed before the film was released.
